If you were wondering why I’ve been so busy lately…
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been gearing up to shoot a full-length indie feature!
The producers have assembled a crack team of filmmakers trained at the best film school in the world. Between the cast and crew, we’ve been featured in The Huffington Post, on the front page of FunnyOrDie, and at several major film festivals. Our collective body of work has accumulated over 500,000 views, and we’ve won countless awards. All of which is a long way of saying we know what we’re doing, and we’re ready to take the leap to make such an ambitious project.
All we need is a little help!
The film is called World’s A Stage. It’s a romantic dramedy explicitly written to be produced on a small budget about five college theater students trying to put on a play together without letting their rapidly intertwining relationships get in the way. Films that have had similar micro-budget success include El Mariachi, Primer, The Blair Witch Project, Clerks, and most recently, Paranormal Activity.
We are currently in the pre-production phase, and plan on filming throughout the month of August. We have an extremely manageable budget of $7,000 for the entire film, and we only have until August 3rd to fundraise. Please, take a look at our project’s page on IndieGoGo and, if you find it worthy, feel free to help out with whatever you can! Even just $10 gets you a copy of the finished film!
I personally guarantee you’ll enjoy owning this movie a lot more than spending $10 on Sex Tape or Transformers 4, and you’ll be helping a lot of people’s dreams literally come to life!
Every donation is one step closer to helping us realize our goal. Thank you for your time and generosity!
